However a simple lamp was enough to make iPhone (and its "advanced" depth-sensing system) think that the lamp is a person looking at it. After many months I realized that the "attention aware" features of iPhone are useful when a person looks at a device and keeps it from screen dimming. For quite some time I thought it was the screen protector which covered the FaceID system, and thought that sensors get confused. For some reason and for many months, when I left it there charging and returned to it hours later, the screen was still on. Above it, there is a simple, plain old bedside lamp. I leave it to charge on an Apple dual MagSafe charger. With all that mask-wearing, it must have forgotten what a face looks like.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max, thinks that a bedside lamp is a person. I mean there are also some ridiculous bugs. And it seems it cannot handle copying many files from external storage (SD Cards, USB Drives) to its internal storage using the Files App. I can't copy files from a usb drive connected to iPad to its local storage for some peculiar reason. Since it was one of the few reasons for me to wear a smartwatch, was using vibration for turn directions for most of my routes for safer driving.
MACOS MONTEREY APPLE MUSIC SERIES
I stopped wearing my Apple Watch Series 6 because for the last year it seems to have forgotten to vibrate when using Apple Maps driving directions. I have problems with Apple Watch as well. But at least then I know that each album will stay organized for the rest of its life. It is problematic to such extent, that I have stopped using Apple Music for organizing my library, and I just burn CDs (CDs in 2022, I know). Messing up songs, titles, album artwork etc. This goes well for mainstream music, but with rare Dilla beats, it just detonates my library. There is this broken feature of iTunes trying to find out if the songs you are importing are available in their servers, and when successful, it replaces your copies with the ones in their database. It is a real mess, I have many imported albums (J Dilla <3) and one day it decided to mix everything up. I was going to rant about it in a post, but you saved me from the trouble.
